No dig technology
Drain Relining is the no-dig technology that can help you with drainage issues. If you have a question regarding what it actually is and how it works or if it is worth going for this option, then we are always here and happy to help you with all your queries.
Our skilled engineers use advanced cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) drain lining and drain patch repair methods to target and restore damaged pipe sections without excavation, ensuring a strong, long- lasting result for both domestic and commercial drainage systems.
Drain relining is a cost-effective way of repairing a drain when excavation is not possible. If relining is required, we can do a full survey to decide whether a No-Dig relining or a Patch Lining is necessary.
When installed by experienced professionals, drain lining and patch repairs can last up to 50 years. It creates a seamless, joint-free finish that prevents leaks, resists root intrusion and improves water flow in the repaired area.
Why Choose Drain Relining?
Here are a few of the many reasons why Drain Relining can be a good option to choose:
- Significantly reduced drain repair costs.
- Availability of lining in different diameters and lengths.
- Prevention of tree root infestation.
- Ability to negotiate bends and offset joints.
- Minimal disruption of activities.
- Sealing of all open joints and cracks.
- Speed of repairs.
- Permanent structural repairs.
Drain Relining
Cured-in-place (CIPP) lining is a trenchless, "no-dig" rehabilitation method that repairs damaged underground pipes, sewers, and drains by inserting a resin-saturated, flexible tube into the existing structure. The liner is inflated and cured (hardened) using air, hot water, steam, or UV light, forming a new, durable pipe inside the old one.
Polyester resin drain relining uses a felt tube made of polyester with all of the air removed. The lining is then saturated with a polyester resin. The tube is then pulled into the damaged pipe. Hot water or air is then pumped into the tube starting off a curing process, which creates a pipe which is smooth and jointless, corrosion resistant, prevents roots from getting in and water from getting out. The new pipe will also ensure increased flow of water and waste through the pipe. Drain lining is usually carried out from a manhole chamber. Little to no digging is required in the process, making it a quick and easy solution for eroded or damaged pipes. All work is then checked by a CCTV system.
Patch Lining
Patch liners provide the same great results as full lining practices. They also offer a no-dig alternative to costly and disruptive excavation work having to be undertaken to repair your drainage system, taking the stress away from you as a homeowner or business.
Patch liners are the perfect solution for localised open joints, root ingress, displaced joints, cracks, fractures and small holes in the drain. The liner is impregnated with a special resin, then wrapped around an inflatable packer and inserted to the defected area and allowed to cure. the packer is then removed leaving a seal over the defected area. Patch lining is a quick and cost-effective way to repair small troublesome areas which when untreated can cause some major problems.

What Situations Require Drain Patch Repair in or West Sussex or Hampshire?
Drain patch repair is an effective method for resolving isolated drainage problems, including:
- Cracked or fractured pipe sections – restoring structural strength without replacing the full pipe.
- Leaking joints – creating a watertight seal where joints have weakened.
- Root ingress damage – blocking entry points and reinforcing the pipe wall.
- Localised corrosion or wear – Extending the service life of ageing pipes.
- Minor collapses – Suitable when most of the pipe remains intact.
- Flow restrictions – Eliminating internal defects that trap debris.
